Clean facilities Kind staff Fun environment. The space was a lot bigger than expected. I had an amazing time in their trial class and I’ll definitely be going back to pick up a new skill. Our coach Rakib was kind and very attentive. He was very skilled, his explanations and corrections were easy to follow. I’d definitely recommend.

shoutout coach sydney for a lively and informative free 1h intro class. its more like 50 min - warmup, passing practice, and 10 min of playing - then 10 min of explanation of classes with the owner at the end. which is cool that he comes out and says hello. if you do the trial class, you can get a deal — buy a 10 class pack, get 2 free; buy a 5 class pack, get 1 free. it’s very beginner friendly! i really appreciated the option to show up and get familiar with the place for free. and then the coach can help you determine which class you can sign up for! as someone who plays in an indoor volleyball league, i think this will be a good way to get more reps in, hone my skills more, and get some conditioning in! :-)

Finally jumped in after shoulder surgery, and it was worth the wait! My kids have been coming to QBK for a while, so I knew it was a good place, but I finally got to try it myself after recovering from shoulder surgery. Couldn't wait any longer. I'm a total beginner, but the coaches made me feel right at home. Super knowledgeable and really patient, which makes all the difference when you're just starting out. The atmosphere is welcoming and fun, no intimidation at all. Indoor beach volleyball is such a cool experience, and QBK pulls it off perfectly. And after class, you can kick back at the bar while you wait for the kids to finish. Love it! Highly recommend it, especially if you're new to the sport.

I was very surprised to see actual sand and full courts in NYC. It was so fun to learn some volleyball basics from amazing instructors like Isabella, Rakim(I don’t recall the accurate spelling) and Greg. It was just such a fun activity, and everyone there is so nice and helpful. The vibes are great. They have a bar with a good selection of drinks. I had the Paloma in a can and that was solid. They also have like feet washing station, water fountain and very nicely stocked restrooms.

January 10, 2026 — I traveled from Crown Heights, Brooklyn to Queens for a free trial beach volleyball class at QBK Sports, and it was absolutely worth it. The facility is easy to access and very spacious, with multiple sand courts, a sports bar, and more. Our coach, Greg, did a great job teaching the basics of volleyball—body positioning, passing, setting—and we even played a short game. I played indoor volleyball years ago, but playing in the sand is a completely different workout. Challenging, fun, and incredibly energizing. I loved it and will definitely be back!
